To strengthen our ability to respond quickly and effectively, we\u2019re seeking a Deployment Coordinator to ensure rapid, well\u2011organised, and compliant surge deployments across our global humanitarian portfolio.<br>If you thrive in fast\u2011moving environments, excel at coordination, and want to make a tangible impact on emergency operations, this role is for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What You\u2019ll Be Doing<\/strong> &#8211; As the Deployment Coordinator, you will manage the full deployment cycle for surge staff supporting humanitarian responses. You\u2019ll be the central link between country teams, technical rosters, HR, Finance and our travel partners\u2014ensuring every deployment is smooth, timely and fully compliant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Manage the global deployment tracker and request system<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate the end\u2011to\u2011end deployment process \u2014 from request to closure<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Arrange travel, accommodation and required documentation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain accurate, real\u2011time deployment and travel records<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide onboarding materials and ensure all mandatory training is completed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support roster recruitment, shortlisting, and screening<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor roster availability and proactively identify suitable candidates<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee recharge processes, deployment costing and monthly financial tracking<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implement and maintain scheduling systems and standardised templates<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collate and analyse travel data to support planning and workload management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure full compliance with Safeguarding, Gender Equality and Inclusion policies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You\u2019ll work closely with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Internal: Deployment Manager, P&amp;C teams, Finance, CO\/RO humanitarian teams, Global Humanitarian Team, and roster members.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>External: Travel partners, consultants, and external surge personnel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What We\u2019re Looking For<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Essential:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strong administrative and coordination experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent organisation and time\u2011management skills, especially under tight deadlines<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong data management and Excel\/reporting skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience working with HR, logistics or deployment processes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clear, confident written and verbal communication<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Desirable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Experience within humanitarian surge mechanisms or NGO emergency response<br>Language skills in French, Spanish or Arabic<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/jobs.plan-international.org\/job\/Flexible-Deployment-Coordinator\/1367197033\/?utm_source=\"><strong>APPLY HERE<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NGO Jobs.
